Had a serendipitous moment while on a shoot over the weekend. 

I traveled about an hour to photograph a dog for a client, and while there I noticed a hummingbird. Then two. Then five. Then I don’t even know how many. They were like bees in the trees around a feeder. The homeowner said there were probably 20 that visited all day every day. I’m not saying I had more fun photographing the hummingbirds, but they definitely came in a close 2nd. 

I have a couple that frequent the flower in my back yard. There needs to be some time well spent sitting in a lawn chair trying to photograph my local frequent fliers
